How your details are used

You are ordering from a restaurant's own table-ordering page. This explains what it keeps about you, and how to have it removed.

What is kept

Nothing else. There is no account to create, no password, no tracking across other websites, and no advertising network involved.

Who can see it

The restaurant you are sitting in. Its staff see your order and your name, and the last four digits of your number on shared screens; the owner can see the full number to call you back about an order.

No other restaurant using this software can see it. It is never sold, and it is not shared with anyone else except where the law requires it.

Messages

Your bill is only sent to you on WhatsApp or SMS if you tick the box asking for it. That box is off unless you turn it on, it applies to that visit's bill, and it is not used for marketing.

Payment

If you pay by UPI from your phone, the money goes directly to the restaurant's own UPI account. This page never sees your UPI PIN, your bank details or your card details.

How long it is kept

The restaurant keeps your order history so it can answer questions about past bills and recognise returning guests. Ask them to delete your details and they can remove your name and number from their guest list; the order itself stays in their sales records, without your contact details, because a business has to keep its accounts.

Asking for your details, or their removal

Ask the restaurant directly — it is their guest list, and they can do it from their own dashboard. They are the right people to ask because they decide what is collected and why; the software is supplied to them by RestroBistro.

On this phone

Your name and number are also remembered in this browser so you do not have to type them again next time. Clearing your browser's site data for this page removes that copy.
